That's how I feel right now... Actually, I go back and forth between feeling absolutely insane and excited. Here's the story...
<---- Last night, one of my running buddies posted this on her Facebook. About 10 seconds later, I asked her if she was indeed serious. We had planned run ~12 miles together on Sunday, followed by my getting on my bike and riding while she did another 4-6 miles (she's training for a full). Come to find out, she was actually serious...
So...I sent a message to one of my other running buddies to see what she thought. I also mentioned the half marathon to Jason. He and I talked it through. We both figured that if I was going to do a 12 mile training run, what was one more mile. Several friends agreed...
Basically, this will be used solely as a training run. There will be no seeking a PR or being ultra-competitive with myself. I am going to run with my buddies and enjoy myself. Then, I will be taking a few days of rest and getting ready for the RunRaleigh Half Marathon on April 15!
Have fun, girl! And good luck at RunRaleigh!
